What an injustice.

http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/350854p-299144c.html

Girl points at a guy's dick, and she gets a dishonorable discharge and 3 years in prison. The guy who sent her into the war in the first place ended up being COMPLETELY WRONG ABOUT WMD'S AND SADDAM'S INVOLVEMENT WITH 9/11, over 2000 people die, and nothing happens.

That's justice for you. It seems that embarrasing a muslim carries a greater punishment than sending honorable men and women to die needlessly.

Jacob, it's good that you rock (changed your about me tag), but you're wrong. President Bush didn't send people into Iraq because Sadam had anything to do with 9/11. That was never the case. And about WMDs... There have been small caches, maybe a gallon or two at a time of rysin and Vx found all over Iraq. The reason you haven't heard about these finds is because of security concerns and what it would do to the anti-war case against the President. Oh, and by the way, the total amount of rysin gas found throughout Iraq to date is upwards of 500 gallons... That's enough to wipe out the entire population of China.

Did you hear PFC England's defense during her tribunal? She was only following the orders of her boyfriend, a plain old vanilla Private. How can you defend yourself by telling people you were following the orders of your "boyfriend" (who you shouldn't have been boning in the first place), who you out-rank? I think she deserves what she got, and maybe more for stupidity.

Sorry, bro... It wasn't Rysin, it's Sarin Nerve Gas... My bad. They also found mustard gas, too. In 550 warheads that are now being used as IEDs to blow up Iraqis and our troops.

So I guess then it's ok to just mislead the public into thinking that you were wrong about the WMD's. What about all the people who turn out their lives to protest the war because of what they think? He'd be better off just telling America what we really found there, and if it's WMD's then fine. Otherwise give me a more legitimate reason to not report the fact that you're finding WMD's. Otherwise, I don't buy it. He even said himself that he was wrong.

And secondly, lets examine the reason Ms. England was punished. Was it for having sex with her platoon (which is so hot by the way)or was it for embarrassing a culture who our government is trying to sympathize with? If it had been anything other than a muslim, I guarantee it would not have gotten any press. Especially since you personally can see worse things about 40 miles south of you.

This is just a case of our government trying to show the fake "nation of islam" that "we care about your feeeeelings." Just like before, we'll call a cease fire and pull everyone out of baghdad and fellucia on October 4 - November 2 so that they can practice they're gay ass religion without any disruption. Who was it? Sun Tsu or someone? Compassion is a weakness. Especially when you show it to your enemy. We should have given england the medal of honor for humiliating those jagoffs. It's much better than they were use to, unless they'd rather have their balls thrown into a meat-grinder.

While I understand your frustration with our government and the White House about the lack of coverage on what's actually happening in Iraq I would like to remind you where the "news" comes from. It has been reported there were WMDs in Iraq, but not widely because it hurts the left. Also, our President is a little bit of a pussy when it comes to standing up for things that have happened. Most of the reason Bush said he made a mistake (which I haven't actually heard, by the way) is because the media won't tell the people of this country what has actually happened.

A perfect example of this bias is also pretty recent. People are still freaking out about the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, but Hurricane Rita was pretty damaging too. I wonder why we don't hear about the rebuilding in Houston... Could it be because the media doesn't really care about Texas? You know Texas is a red state, right? And Louisiana? Yeah, um, blue... So why do you see only one natural disaster relief effort on TV? Apply this to the coverage of the War on Terrorism and you can see why they wouldn't be so forthcoming with evidence they've been wrong from the start.

And as far as how people who spend every waking moment undermining the proactive protection our military bestows upon them without their asking for it (read: those who thought WMDs were not going to be found in Iraq and still believe they haven't)... Yeah, I don't really care how they justify their lives once they find out the truth. I think shocked realization is a pretty good motivator to cease and desist stupidity, but that's just me.

Yeah ok I don't buy the whole "media conspiracy." The media reports what gets them ratings. Sorry you don't like that, but they have no obligation to report anything that won't net them an audience and a profit. The damage in houston was not nearly as significant as the damage to new orleans, so it is hardly feasible to think that houston would get covered more than new orleans, especially since it was hit with a cat3, which happens every year, while louisiana was hit with a cat5 and new orleans was almost completely destroyed, AND the fact that new orleans is a bigger news story.

Two points:

1. If there were significant WMD's found (not the ones we left, and not the ones he used back in the 90s) then the president should hold a press conference to tell us.
2. If that was even true, then he lied to us when he said that there were no WMD's found.

Now he claims that the war is about freedom for iraqi's. But frankly, their freedom is not our responsibility. Until he comes out and tells the people exactly what was found, I don't buy the conspiracy theories.
